[S2E5] The Darkest Hour
John Atkinson has been a news and feature writer for Screen Rant since late 2018. Before that, he had articles published across a number of different outlets. A graduate of the University of London, John was raised on a small island by television and movies. As such, he pursued a career in screenwriting and film journalism when it became apparent that actually becoming Spider-Man was impossible. John's fondest wish is to one day produce a film of his own. Until then, he's more than happy to spend countless hours just talking about them. John's love of film and television defies genre and sometimes even logic. Nothing is off-limits to his passion - be it Marvel, DC, Rian Johnson's Star Wars, or Tommy Wiseau's latest cinematic offering. Away from screens, John can often be found in a park reading mystery and/or fantasy novels, jumping up and down at various music events, or thinking too deeply about Keanu Reeves' career and why Edgar Wright doesn't have an Oscar.

I love the part where the troll traps Merlin. I think Merlin has to learn his limitations in order to become a great warlock. He struggles through the night to free himself and is only able to do so after hours and hours of trying. He appears genuinely exhausted after so many attempts. The upside is that he has learned how to focus his powers a little more.
Even in death, Scarlet Briar casts a long shadow over the northern continent. After the destruction of her enormous airship drill the Breachmaker ended the Battle for Lion's Arch, her forces scattered to the four winds. As the dust settles, the survivors are left to pick up the pieces, while the Lionguard have to contend with looters and ghoulish tourists. Those who came to aid the once-great city-state in its darkest hour will be remembered, but the question remains: what will become of Lion's Arch?
Marjory and Kasmeer ran into a dead end as far as investigating in the Durmand Priory archives. It turns out that the only member who knows the secret cipher to get into the hidden archives is Explorer Campbell, who was now out in the Silverwastes. After getting the password, Marjory and Kasmeer meet up with Ela Makkay in the Priory's archives. She leads them into a deeper layer of the archives, where the most precious books and relics are kept. Down there, after reading various books hinted at by the cipher, Ogden Stonehealer is down in the Special Collections. He points out a special hourglass that protected Glint's Lair. The Commander, along with Marjory and Kasmeer got sucked in, but they two were on divergent paths. After fighting their way through the lair, the two converge near the end of the lair. There, a vision of the Master of Peace retrieving Glint's last unbroken egg was revealed, and he is carrying it off to a safe spot for it to be hatched. Ogden doesn't know where that is, though. After venturing through the lair, though, Ogden will answer many questions. 041b061a72
